PRESIDENT

Woody (we don’t call him Frank) is President and an equity partner of Dixon Hughes Wealth Advisors, and a principal of Dixon Hughes PLLC.  He has over twenty-five years of wealth management experience, advising high net worth individuals, companies and trusts.  Woody is a member of the Investment Management Consultants Association® through the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and received his Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation from the University of Pittsburgh.

He was born in New Orleans, grew up in Asheville and graduated from Mars Hill College.  Today, Woody lives on a farm in Tryon, North Carolina, with his wife, three horses, a miniature donkey and four dogs.  He serves on several non-profit boards, is an avid outdoorsman and photographer, and a former scratch golfer who now struggles with a four handicap.  He’s also a lifelong drummer, having played clubs and live dates throughout the South.  It’s been a while since Woody has performed in public, but he says he’s still likes to, er, pound the skins from time to time.
