Rick is Vice-President, Chief Investment Officer and an equity partner in the firm.  He has over twenty-five years of wealth management experience, which he draws on to advise clients and oversee the firm’s investment-related functions.

Rick says he “grew up on skis,” as his family ran a ski area in Pennsylvania, and he looks for any opportunity to hit the slopes.  He’s an accomplished potter and used his potter’s wheel to help pay for his education.  In addition to his study of finance, he loves to study the mind-body connection and human consciousness.  He met his wife, Pat, on a tennis court in sixth grade and admits that he’s still trying to keep up with her on the golf course.

Rick is a cum laude graduate of Bucknell University and Dickenson School of Law—Pennsylvania State University. Because both of his children graduated from University of North Carolina—Chapel Hill, he’s an avid Tar Heel fan.  It makes for exciting staff meetings when he talks to his Blue Devil, Demon Deacon, Pirate and Gamecock colleagues.
