Jason joined DHWA as a financial advisor in March 2010 and helped us establish a presence in West Virginia. A seasoned veteran with more than 10 years of industry experience, he helps create financial security for both high net worth individuals and corporate retirement plans by providing his clients with a customized approach and a high level of service that exceeds their expectations.

Jason graduated from Concord University in Athens, WV, where he currently serves on the Business Advisory Board, with a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in finance. He also holds an MBA from the Lewis College of Business at Marshall University in Huntington, WV and the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) & Accredited Asset Management Specialist (AAMS®) designations from the College for Financial Planning

Jason is married to the woman of his dreams, Stormy, and they are the proud parents of a son, Dawson, a newborn daughter, Campbell, and a four-legged daughter named Lexi. Although he is 6'4", his dream career of basketball fell short after a stint in the International Basketball League, but he still continues to play with "kids half his age." Jason loves anything outdoors and you can usually find him a few minutes from his house in one of WV's great state parks hiking or mountain biking with his dog. The Lunsford family is active in their church and Jason gives back to the community with his participation in the Union Mission, Habitat for Humanity, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
