Kelly began her career in 1994 as a receptionist at Smith Barney.  She became an assistant to Woody Hoyle in 1995 and followed him to Dixon Hughes in 2000.  Today, she’s our Operations Manager, overseeing training and supervision of administrative assistants.  She works with the advisors to implement procedure for our administrative staff and also assists Woody and Kate Anderson, our compliance officer, with their responsibilities.

She was born in Olean, New York, and raised between Olean and Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania.  She enjoyed the lake effect snow as a kid, but says she doesn’t miss it as an adult. Kelly lives in Fletcher, North Carolina with her husband Dwayne and their son Cody. They have a 15 year old Pekingese named Gizmo. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially relishing time with Cody and her nieces and nephews.  Her favorite vacation spots are Bemus Point, NY and Kiawah Island/Charleston, SC. She also loves to read and take long walks, and is part of a supper club with five friends (she brings the bread, as her friends don’t trust her cooking.)

Kelly volunteers with several local non-profit groups including Our Voice in Asheville, a crisis intervention agency serving all victims of sexual violence in Buncombe Country.
