SUZANNE R. HOLBERT, CPA/PFS

VICE-PRESIDENT
ASHEVILLE, HENDERSONVILLE

Suzanne is a Vice-President of Dixon Hughes Wealth Advisors and a CPA, with a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation from the AICPA.  She brings over twenty years of experience to her work, assisting our clients with their wealth management and financial planning.

A native of Western North Carolina, Suzanne graduated from Mars Hill College and is an active member of several local non-profit organizations.  She serves on the board of the Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy, as she says, to help “find a balance between growth and preserving the natural beauty and character of this lovely place.”  She’s also a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Henderson County, enjoying the rewarding experience of seeing at-risk youth succeed when given opportunity.

In her spare time, Suzanne rides her 100th Anniversary Edition Harley Davidson Lowrider on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  She also heads to Lake Keowee for mountain biking, hiking and boating, loves to golf and gardens (“anything that keeps me outside”).

You can reach Suzanne at sholbert@dhwealthadvisors.com or 828.692.3023

Suzanne’s Favorite Links
Toys for Tots
I love riding my Harley in the toy runs. My brother is the Marine coordinator for Western North Carolina and it’s so rewarding to be part of such a great event—especially around the holidays!
Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation
This is a fundraiser for an outstanding organization. In 2007, over 1000 motorcyclists came together for a beautiful ride down to Chimney Rock. Listening to the children and their families reminds us of all the reasons we have to be thankful.
360° of Financial Literacy
A great website that answers most general questions about financial planning. It was established by the AICPA to educate the public and I recommend it to all of my clients.
Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy
The people of Western North Carolina joined forces to promote responsible growth while ensuring that the beauty of the area remains for future generations. If you live in Western North Carolina, I hope you’ll check this site out.
Chimney Rock Park
Chimney Rock Park recently became a state park, one of the most recent and highly publicized successful land conservation projects involving Carolina Mountain Land Conservancy. Read about it here.
