SARAH R. PARIS

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING
CHARLOTTE

Having spent more than a decade working in financial services Sarah brings a diverse range of experience and insights to her current role — including marketing, business development, investment research & strategy, private wealth management, and M&A.

She has worked across the financial spectrum — five years with Goldman Sachs, and then two years helping a serial entrepreneur launch a private equity firm.

She joined Dixon Hughes Wealth Advisors as our Director of Marketing in 2007 and is responsible for all of the firm's marketing and business development related efforts. She also serves in an advisory capacity to select clients in the Central Carolina region.

A native of New York City, Sarah has fallen in love with North Carolina. First as a student at Duke, where she graduated cum laude with a BA in Economics, and then moving here permanently in 2006 when she became Director of Marketing for a Charlotte-based hedge fund.

She is, of course, a die-hard Blue Devils basketball supporter (sorry, Tarheel fans) and was thrilled to see them win their fourth National Championship! In addition to college hoops, she loves NASCAR, (which is a surprise, given her urban upbringing). She's a gourmet cook (she prefers the word adventurous) and a compulsive baker. Some say she makes the world's best chocolate chip cookies, but Sarah modestly says she's in the top ten.

Sarah lives in Lincolnton, where she volunteers for the Lincoln County Historical Association, the Art Stroll in Downtown Lincolnton, and other community activities. She also interviews prospective Blue Devils for Duke's Alumni Admissions Program as well as candidates for the Robertson Scholars Program.

You can reach Sarah at sparis@dhwealthadvisors.com or 704.367.5882.

Google Maps
I have yet to break down and buy a GPS and until I do, this is how I figure out how to get to where I am going. Seeing as I’ve put 15,000 miles on my car in the last 7 months, you can guess how often I am going somewhere.
Modcloth
I love the wide selection of retro-style, indie dresses that this site carries.
Gundlach Bundschu
I simply love Gun Bun and their site is the perfect place to keep up with vineyard happenings and events, and of course, buy some of my favorite wine! I especially love the Gewürztraminer and the Pinot Noir.
